Tons of Free Videos To Watch On Our iPod

We have blogged about Wizzard and Juice but not really given much thought to what else is being produced for viewing in this format. We decided to do a bit of a recce and see what else is on offer. We are pleased to let you know there is a LOT out there - all for free! Today's post is about PodcastAlley - which has thousands video podcasts  -  all free.  Check the following demo of one of the available video podcast feeds that you can easily subscribe to and watch on your iPod. Just click on any of the titles to see what you could be watching on your iPod (just click the x to turn off the ads): [inline][/inline] Here is the link to the  video podcast feed for the ModTV (above) The only shortcoming to the site is finding the video you want. The audios are organized by genre - so you can browse by the type you want - but considering that there are thousands in some categories, this is not as big a help as we really need. The video podcasts don't seem to be organized by any kind of logic - so its a case of browsing and hoping to some extent.This is a pity as there are some really great video feeds in the list. Same problem at both Wizzard and iTunes. Actually, iTunes is the best of a bad lot. What is it with  these sites that can't (or won't?) add a simple search function to their sites???

How To Get Free iPod Commedy Videos

The iPodbomb team are pleased to let you know about a stack of great free comedy videos for watching on our iPods. They are kind of "hidden in plain sight" because they are actually available at iTunes - but in a place you might not think to look. They are available in the podcast section  of iTunes. And there are literally thousands of comedy videos on offer. We decided to go on a hunt for free comedy cartoons/animations. We have provided the links to over 50 results for video cartoons (with numerous episodes for many titles) and over 50 cool animation videos (and again as many as 150 episodes for some titles). Or,  you can do a power search yourself for comedy video Podcasts. Select "comedy" in category, input "animation" or whatever in description and put a tick in search only for video podcasts. But just so you can really appreciate the world of free comedy videos we are introducing you to, check out the following great free videos series for watching on your iPods (click the images to get sent to iTunes):

Instant Youtube on iPod - Well, almost!

So it was great to find a relief to find a way for them to watch YouTube on their own time on their iPods!! Because we found some great free software that downloads and convert YouTube videos for iPod viewing in a one-click operation: Tooble! Tooble is not new - but we realized that we had not done a post on this neat bit of software and decided is was overdue for sharing. Its basically click, click watch - as the following really short video shows:

Free Music For Your iPod Courtesy Of SeeqPod

You can search for and listen to music from the widget below. OR, if you want to watch videos of your favorite musicians then you can do this from the SeeqPod site. And when you are out of touch - and with your iPodTouch - you can simply point it to their iPod-enabled site to find and listen to the music you love. Feedback reported on the site is pretty impressive. Some examples:

Watch videos on iPod for free

Pinnacle Systems are about to release a neat device that allows ipod owners to transfer videos directly to our ipods without having to use a PC! According to Pinnacle, this small, portable device will allow us to get videos, TV shows and more, on our ipods. The hardware is called "Pinnacle Video Transfer" and is a compact, easy-to-use USB 2.0 device that allows us to copy a video source to any USB 2.0 mass storage device, such as a video iPod®, PSP®, USB 2.0 flash drive or USB 2.0 hard drive. It is going

on sale from January 15th 2008 but can be pre-ordered from Pinnacle from January 7th. Although the price is not mentioned on the Pinnacle site promo, it will be $130 according to PCNews.
