Free Music, TV and Movies for our iPods - What’s the catch?
Posted on Feb 10, 2009 under free ipod downloads |Would you sign up for a free trial that gave you 25 free songs to keep for your iPod? Or two weeks of TV viewing from your iPod? Or 5 days access to movies to download to your iPod?
Lets face it, the free stuff is bait - mighty attractive bait - but bait it is! Because in order to get it, we have to sign up for membership and then remember to cancel our subscription before the free trial ends (otherwise we get charged). Now, if we were sure that we could take the bait and not get hooked, then I think most of us would take the bait!!
Anyway, that’s my reason for avoiding free trials. What’s your?
Now we have put some thought into this and are currently designing a way to avoid the “getting hooked” part of the set-up. We expect to have our “keep it free” system up and running in the next few days, so keep checking back.
