Ipod Music album has been banned from some sites!
Posted on Feb 04, 2009 under iPod Music |On a different note… a very different note, it seems - we have the excitement of an MP3 download-only album getting banned from some sites! (eg Lala.com) In fact, this album is proving so controversial that it is difficult to get. For example at iTunes and Amazon you can only get the first half of the album whilst at Shockhound and Rhapsody you can only get the second half!
So does that mean that iTunes and Amazon are cool with the first half whilst Shockhound and Rhapsody aren’t (and visa versa?) Weird! You may be wondering what album has caused all this upset? Well, its CalPOP’s latest album: Best Record in the World.
But there is nothing like controversy to get an album good press. I know we had to go check it out! Can’t see what all the fuss is about, to be honest. Maybe its the song that has the words “homework sucks” ! Get all the parents bothered perhaps? But according to some reports its more that
it has frequencies of sound adults can’t hear, and it seems to have several languages going on with hidden messages
